A rhizome is a botanical term for a modified plant stem that sends out roots and shoots from the ends of its nodes. They grow horizontally to cover more ground and find more nutrients. Rhizomatic thinking is a way to describe multiplicities, non-hierarchical structures, and numerous readings of the same experience.
To become rhizomatic, one must abandon linear thinking that contains the imagination.
The mind must be curious and the heart must be open.
